Roles and Responsibilities

●  Leverage existing relationships and establish new connections within the travel industry in Singapore, fostering strategic local partnerships with key stakeholders in any of these verticals - traditional travel agents/bank, e-payment companies/Tourism Board/Airlines for strategic alliances.

●  Drive the entire end-to-end business development cycle, from initial engagement to closing deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and successful partnerships. 

●  Employ a data-driven approach, exceeding targets for business development within each vertical, utilizing data insights to make informed decisions and implement KPI-driven solutions.

●  Identify and capitalize on synergies between sectors, devising innovative strategies to maximize revenue streams and enhance the company's position within the competitive landscape.

●  Collaborate cross-functionally to align strategies with organizational goals and objectives, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.

●  Identify and engage in industries and networking events regularly to build strong network & new relationships.

●  Accurately forecast and manage a healthy sales pipeline.

●  Contribute ideas and drive initiatives to scale merchant adoption rate.

●  Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership for projects and initiatives.


●  3-5 years of experience in sales and business development with in-depth knowledge and strong network in at least one of these verticals - traditional travel agents/banks, e-payment companies /Tourism Board/Airlines, staying abreast of industry trends and dynamics.

●  Strong communication and negotiation skill for merchant acquisition and management. 

●  Willingness to canvass or door-knock to pitch to prospective merchants. 

●  Strong interpersonal skills with good analytical skills, driven to help build a successful business in a startup environment.

●  Ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining high level of accuracy of the work.

●  Passionate to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to making a meaningful impact.

●  A self-starter and motivated individual with can’t-is-not-an-option attitude; A problem-solver who’s not discouraged by failure or mistakes.
